Client's Story

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA)  2006 statistics, there were over 2.6 million people injured in traffic crashes in the US, with more than 42,000 killed.  Motorcycle fatalities account for over 10% of all motor vehicle fatalities and continue to rise annually.   The number of “Big Rig” / truck accidents also rises annually and causes the highest rate of fatalities to vehicle occupants.

A car wreck is one of the most terrifying experiences a person can face.  Every day, people are injured or killed in automobile collisions caused by someone else. When you, a loved one or friend suffers a serious injury or if someone is killed—especially when it was caused by someone else—it is devastating for all concerned. The lingering effects of the wreck include property damage, income loss, medical issues, emotional distress and loss of every day freedoms. Insurance companies do all they can to limit their losses even though their insured’s may be responsible for yours. Attorney Stuart A. Truck/Big Rig Accidents
The United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) reports there are more than 500,000 truck accidents each year. Of these, 98% of the fatalities occur to the people occupying the smaller vehicle struck by the truck.  When a “Big Rig” is involved, limited handling ability, poor inspection, mechanical failure, unqualified drivers and driver fatigue are the most frequent contributing factors.

When truck collisions do occur, trucking companies involved in the accident often send representatives to the accident scene. These agents work to handle everything at the scene in their efforts to limit or reduce their company’s responsibility.  Sometimes, this occurs by influencing witnesses, altering or destroying evidence discrediting victims and delaying / denying fault.

The Law Offices of Stuart A. Kritzer, P.C. has the experience and success you need to obtain the kind of recovery you deserve. Contact us for more information:  We are here to help.

Motorcycle Accidents
The NTSB is concerned about motorcycle safety and the growing number of riders who have been killed or injured.  Since 1997, the number of fatalities has increased 127%, an increase that far exceeds that of any other form of transportation.
The fact is that over seventy-five percent of all multi-vehicle accidents involving motorcyclists are not the motorcyclist's fault. Injuries caused by motorcycle accidents are, more often than not, the result of an inattentive vehicle driver who doesn't see the motorcycle and either turns in front of it or follows too closely and runs into the back of the bike.  Approximately one-fourth of all motorcycle accidents involve only the bike, which collides with the roadway or some fixed object in the area.

Because of the greater risks involved with a bike’s operation, motorcyclists and their passengers are far more likely to suffer serious injury or death than the occupant of a car. This may create even greater difficulties for motorcyclists and passengers due to longer recovery times and much higher medical bills. In addition, motorcycle insurance policies will typically only provide very modest levels of medical and uninsured motorist coverage.

The Law Offices of Stuart A. Kritzer, P.C. can properly advise all those affected by the consequences of a serious motorcycle accident, ensuring an injured person’s rights are protected and help obtain the kind of recovery justice demands.  Stuart Kritzer is a motorcycle rider so he understands these issues, both on and off his bike!
